DANCE MARATHON 2011
13’000 Swiss Francs were raised and donated to the Breast Cancer Society in the canton of Vaud, Switzerland.
« The Dance Aerobics Company » beat records this year at the annual Dance Aerobics Marathon organized in October 2011 at Cheseaux-sur-Lausanne.
On January 27th, 2012 a check of Chf 13’000 was presented to the league.
The Dance Aerobics Company, whose headquarters are in Lausanne, Switzerland has raised and donated more than 200’000 Swiss Francs in 13 years since starting this annual dance fundraiser. The Dance Aerobics Company is committed to helping this important feminine cause.
More than 535 participants, women, teens and kids came to dance from all over Switzerland to help make a success of the event. TDAC thanks everyone personally for their hard work, time and energy that went into organizing the event.
« This is a cause that concerns all of us and we at The Dance Aerobics Company are happy and proud to contribute to and with the Swiss feminine community to fight against this disease. » says founder Patricia Matthey. The company which offers dance fitness classes in over 400 Swiss communities throughout Switzerland is nearly 30 years old and is also winner of the excellence in team management prize “Le Prix Baettig”.
The Dance Aerobics Company recognizes and thanks the many people who made this marathon possible and a success, including the commune of Cheseaux-sur-Lausanne, the steering committee, area coordinators, instructors and participants of all ages.
